Open your statement

My Statements is the staff view of the payroll ledger. Every contributor, staff author, editor, and admin can open their own statement. It does not let you change rates or record payments.

Payroll managers and admins can pick another username when they need to review someone else’s statement. That control is hidden for everyone else.

Choose a date range

  1. Pick a preset

This month, Last month, and Year to date fill the From and To dates. Custom lets you type both dates yourself.

  2. Choose Load

The table refreshes for that range. Changing the dates without Load leaves the previous results on screen.

  3. Choose Print when you need a copy

Print opens a printer-friendly view of the loaded range, including payables, payments, running balance, and year-to-date total.

Read the ledger

  • Payables — amounts created when a post you were assigned to was published, at the rate in effect for that role.
  • Payments — amounts recorded when a payroll manager paid you. They apply to the oldest open payables first.
  • Running balance — what remains owed after those payments in the selected range.
  • Year-to-date total — earned payables for the calendar year, independent of whether they have been paid yet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change a payable from this screen?

No. Ask a payroll manager to review the assignment, rate, or payment. My Statements is read-only for staff.

Why is a story missing after it published?

Publishing creates a payable only for active human assignments with a non-zero rate. Check the post’s Assignments tab and ask an editor if a role was left off.

Does Print email the statement?

No. It prepares the loaded range for your browser’s print dialog. Save as PDF from there if you need a file.
