Roy-Hart Field Hockey Pre-season Preview

Roy-Hart enters the 2026 field hockey season with a small roster and a senior group that gives the program its clearest foundation.

Delaney Ulrich is listed as Roy-Hart's head coach, with Sam Choate serving as assistant coach. The roster includes 12 players, led by four Class of 2027 athletes: Adella Dukes, Miley Reiter, Mackenzie Landers and Savannah Newton.

Dukes gives Roy-Hart a proven front-line option. The senior forward is coming off a 2025-26 season in which she recorded 12 goals and nine assists. Newton, listed as a forward/midfielder, also returns after putting up six goals and two assists last season.

That production gives Roy-Hart two experienced scoring pieces to build around. In the published statistics through 2025, Dukes has 37 goals and 16 assists, while Newton has 17 goals and eight assists.

Roy-Hart also brings back Bella Rhinehart in the midfield. Rhinehart, a Class of 2029 player, recorded three goals and one assist as a freshman in 2025-26.

The roster also lists senior Miley Reiter on defense and senior Mackenzie Landers as a defense/goalie option. Clementine Rokitka is listed as a goalie in the Class of 2030, while the younger group includes Bailey Poeller, Stella Stoll, Laci Reiter, Jillian Schimek, Izabella Green and Amelia Long.

Roy-Hart's schedule opens at home Sept. 3 against Buffalo Academy of Science before a Sept. 10 road date at Kenmore. The early slate continues with Barker visiting Sept. 15, a trip to Newfane on Sept. 17 and a home matchup with Akron on Sept. 22.

October brings a busy run that includes home games against Kenmore on Oct. 3, Newfane on Oct. 8, Medina on Oct. 10 and Wilson on Oct. 22. Roy-Hart also has road games scheduled at Buffalo Academy of Science, Barker, Medina and Wilson. The return trip to Akron falls Sept. 30.

With Dukes and Newton back after combining for 18 goals and 11 assists last season, Roy-Hart has returning production in the attack. The next step will be building enough support around that senior core to carry the group through the full schedule.
