Gianna Patterson scored two goals and Aria Corcoran contributed a goal and two assists as Holland/East Aurora defeated Eden 5-0 in field hockey on Oct. 17 at Eden Senior High School's MS/HS Turf Field.
Holland/East Aurora took a 2-0 lead in the first quarter and carried that advantage into halftime after a scoreless second. They added two goals in the third quarter and one in the fourth to complete the scoring.
Alexis Senger supplied a goal and an assist, and Jackie Wright also scored. Willow Hupkowcicz and Emma Kirsch each recorded an assist. Elise Perry played all 60 minutes in goal as Holland/East Aurora held Eden scoreless.
Patterson's two goals brought her season total to five. Corcoran finished the contest with season totals of three goals and 10 assists, while Senger reached four goals and three assists.
Holland/East Aurora improved to 4-9 overall and 3-2 in ECIC II, placing fourth in the standings through the contest date. Pioneer and Starpoint also had 3-2 division records. Eden fell to 2-9 overall and 2-3 in the division, placing sixth.
