WNY Maritime/Tapestry/CSAT Seahawks 2026 Football Preview
WNY Maritime/Tapestry/CSAT enters 2026 with a new program structure and a clear building point.
"It's our first year as a program with all 3 schools," Brendan Searl said. "We are looking forward to building a program."
Anthony Scott leads the staff, with Nathan Walker, Cliff Scott, Dakarai Hubbard, Anthony Owens, Derek Spinda and Lowell Robinson also on the sideline. The program also points to the energy Coach Scott has brought to the group.
That building process will have some experienced pieces to lean on, starting with senior Davion Blackwell.
Returning Production
Blackwell is a Class of 2027 running back, wide receiver and linebacker, and his 2025 production touches almost every part of the field. As a junior, he ran for 426 yards and a touchdown, caught 13 passes for 277 yards and four touchdowns, and finished with seven total touchdowns.
Defensively, Blackwell had 100 total tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and eight passes defended in 2025.
The Seahawks also return several players with prior defensive production. Trevor Minor, a Class of 2028 offensive lineman and linebacker, had 51 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and one fumble recovery in 2025. Gabe Houston, a Class of 2028 offensive and defensive lineman, had 36 total tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks.
Dylan Brown gives the Seahawks another Class of 2028 lineman with a productive 2025 line after posting 34 total tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks. Isaiah Gary, a Class of 2027 wide receiver and defensive back, had 25 total tackles and four passes defended.
Aaron Bell, a Class of 2027 tight end and linebacker, had 30 total tackles and four receptions in 2025. Christian Wimes, a Class of 2028 wide receiver and defensive back, had 22 total tackles and four passes defended last season, along with three receptions for 37 yards.
Schedule Landmarks
The Seahawks open Sept. 5 against Clarence at Tapestry Athletic Complex, then travel to Grand Island on Sept. 11.
The home schedule continues Sept. 18 against Kenmore East and Oct. 1 against North Tonawanda before Hamburg visits Tapestry Athletic Complex on Oct. 15.
The road slate includes South Park at All High Stadium on Sept. 24, Williamsville East on Oct. 9 and Starpoint on Oct. 22.
For a program beginning its first season with all three schools together, the through line is simple: build the Seahawks identity week by week and give a returning group a chance to shape the foundation.
