Williamsville North Tops Starpoint Behind Park's 41

• Williamsville North defeated Starpoint 183-224 in an ECIC Small girls golf match played September 22 at Audubon Golf Course.

Williamsville North used four counting rounds of 50 or better to defeat Starpoint 183-224 in ECIC Small girls golf action Tuesday at Audubon Golf Course.

Sevin Park was the medalist with a 41 for Williamsville North. Keira Speyer was close behind with a 43, and Hadley Hawker and Miranda Proctor rounded out Williamsville North's team score with rounds of 49 and 50. Hawker recorded a double eagle, and Park recorded an eagle.

Starpoint was led by Evelyn Ohol, who shot 47. Sophia Mussell added a 53, Lila Jones posted a 57 and Fiona Buczkowski carded a 67 to complete Starpoint's counting rounds.

Williamsville North also received exhibition rounds from Morgan Schara at 56, Izabella Zandi at 61, Alaina Edmonds at 64 and Eliana Laskowski at 74. Zandi and Edmonds each recorded an eagle, and Schara recorded a birdie. Starpoint's exhibition scores included Eva Robison at 63, Gianna Tice at 66 and Connie Case at 79.

The result moved Williamsville North to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in ECIC Small competition. Starpoint moved to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the division.
