Overview

  • Williamsville North earned a 3-0 victory at East Aurora/Holland, winning each set by three points or fewer.
  • A 28-26 second-set win gave North a two-set lead before a 25-22 finish completed the sweep.

Williamsville North swept East Aurora/Holland 3-0 in boys volleyball Friday, Sept. 25, at East Aurora High School, winning 25-22, 28-26, 25-22.

North took the opening set by three points before winning the closest set of the match, 28-26, to build a 2-0 lead. Another 25-22 result in the third set completed the road victory.

The win improved North's overall record from 3-2 to 4-2. North stood tied for fourth in Division 1 with a 1-2 division record.

East Aurora/Holland fell from 4-1 to 4-2 overall. The cross-division result left their 4-0 Division 2B record unchanged, and East Aurora/Holland stood first in the division standings.
