Williamsville East swept Hamburg 3-0 in boys volleyball on Oct. 15 at Williamsville East High School, winning 25-23, 25-19 and 25-18.

The two-point opening set was the closest of the match. Williamsville East followed with a six-point margin in the second set and closed with a seven-point margin in the third.

The victory moved Williamsville East to 10-1 overall and 7-0 in Division 2A, where they held the top spot in the standings through the contest date. Hamburg fell to 6-6 overall and 3-4 in the division, placing seventh.
