Williamsville East enters the 2026 girls volleyball season with a roster built around upperclass experience and enough positional variety to sort through roles as the fall develops.

After a 6-10 finish in 2025-26, head coach Natalie Berrafato’s team returns seven seniors: middle Haley Keenan, defensive specialist/libero Lana Martin, right side Ava DeLuca, defensive specialist Sophia Robinson, right side Addison Heater, outside hitter Madison McGinn and defensive specialist Katie Goula. Several of those players have been part of prior varsity seasons, giving Williamsville East a group that has been around the program before this fall.

DeLuca and McGinn bring experience from the 2024-25 and 2025-26 varsity seasons. Keenan, Martin, Robinson, Heater and Goula also were part of the 2025-26 varsity group, while junior middle Lexi Wendling and freshman setter Zoe Adriano also return from the 2025-26 varsity group.

The rest of the roster gives Williamsville East room to build different combinations. Juniors Morgan Kelschenbach and Kyla Stanfield are listed at outside hitter, Alexis Stroze at right side, Mia Khoury at defensive specialist and Amara Heard at setter. Sophomore Zoe Giglia is listed in the middle, and Wendling adds another middle option.

The early schedule should give Williamsville East quick information about where those pieces fit. The team is listed to begin with home dates against Frontier, Hamburg, Clarence and Sweet Home. Later September road matches at Starpoint, Hamburg and Roy-Hart lead into an October stretch that includes Orchard Park, West Seneca West, Sweet Home, Starpoint, Amherst and a finale at Williamsville North.
