West Seneca West sweeps Williamsville South in three sets

Overview

West Seneca West defeated visiting Williamsville South 3-0 on Oct. 5.
After winning the first two sets 25-17 and 25-16, West closed the match with a 25-23 third set.
Both teams stood at 5-5 overall after the cross-division match; West was third in the Division 2A standings, while South was tied for second in Division 2B.

West Seneca West swept visiting Williamsville South 3-0 in boys volleyball on Oct. 5 at West Seneca West High School, winning 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

West took the opening set by eight points and the second by nine to build a 2-0 lead. South's closest set came in the third, but West won by two points to complete the sweep.

The victory brought West Seneca West to 5-5 overall, while Williamsville South fell to 5-5. The ECIC II opponents belonged to separate divisions: West stood third in Division 2A with a 3-1 division record, and South was tied for second in Division 2B at 1-0.
