Overview

Starpoint defeated Williamsville South 3-1 on Oct. 15.
The hosts won 26-24, 17-25, 25-13, 25-21.
Both teams finished the match with 7-6 overall records.

Starpoint won the final two sets to defeat Williamsville South 3-1 in boys volleyball on Oct. 15 at Starpoint Central High School.

After taking the opening set 26-24, Starpoint dropped the second 25-17. The hosts regained the match lead with a 25-13 third set and finished the victory with a 25-21 fourth set.

Starpoint improved from 6-6 to 7-6 overall and stood fifth in the supplied Division 2A standings with a 3-3 division record. Williamsville South fell from 7-5 to 7-6 and remained 1-0 in Division 2B, where the standings listed them tied for first with Olmsted.
