Springville swept visiting Tonawanda 3-0 in an ECIC 4 girls volleyball match Oct. 15 at Springville-Griffith Institute High School, winning 25-23, 25-18, 25-21.

The two-point opening set was the closest of the match. Springville also took the second set by seven points and the third by four to complete the sweep.

The victory moved Springville from 7-7 to 8-7 overall and brought their division record to 4-4. Springville stood third in the ECIC 4 standings through the contest date. Tonawanda dropped from 8-7 to 8-8 overall and finished the match date fourth in the division at 3-6.
