Silver Creek's 2026 girls volleyball season begins with a roster built heavily around its senior class and a pair of returning players with multiple seasons of documented varsity production.

Silver Creek finished 4-12 in 2025-26. Taylor Potter leads the program as head coach, with Gabrielle Mohan as junior varsity head coach. The varsity roster includes seven seniors: Liana Parsell, Jenesis Osieja, Molly Shaw, Risa Kuppel, Priya Sakpal, Madison Blair and Katrina Lester. Madelyn Halstrom is the lone junior, while Brielle LaValle and Lillyana Dowling are sophomores.

Middle/outside hitter Madison Blair returns with two seasons of varsity experience. As a junior in 2025-26, Blair posted 46 kills, 17 aces, 17 digs and 12 blocks. That followed a sophomore season with 54 kills, 24 aces, 19 digs and 11 blocks.

Parsell, an outside hitter/defensive specialist, gives Silver Creek another multi-year contributor. Her 2025-26 junior season included 34 kills, 42 aces, 16 digs and four assists. Across the three seasons before 2026-27, Parsell recorded 53 kills, 113 digs and 89 aces.

That returning production gives Silver Creek some established pieces while the rest of the roster sorts into roles around them. Silver Creek also has Kuppel at libero, LaValle at setter, Sakpal in the middle and several defensive-specialist options, including Halstrom, Shaw and Lester.

Silver Creek is scheduled to open Sept. 3 against North Collins before road matches at Forestville on Sept. 8 and Pine Valley on Sept. 11. The September slate also includes Cassadaga Valley, Chautauqua Lake, Brocton, Panama, Westfield and Maple Grove, with the regular-season schedule running through an Oct. 19 match against Maple Grove.
