Overview

  • Lauren Snyder gives Roy-Hart an experienced outside/right-side hitter after posting 82 kills, 53 digs, 33 aces and 20 assists as a sophomore in 2025-26.
  • Zoe Healey is another established front-row option, coming off a junior season with 38 kills and five blocks.
  • The roster includes two seniors, four juniors and seven sophomores, giving Roy-Hart a mix of returning varsity production and younger players moving into larger roles.
  • Roy-Hart opens Sept. 3 at Oakfield Alabama before home matches with Albion on Sept. 9 and Newfane on Sept. 10.

Roy-Hart enters the 2026 girls volleyball season with a clear statistical foundation from last fall and plenty of room for new roles to form around it.

Lauren Snyder, an outside/right side in the Class of 2028, returns with production in several categories. As a sophomore, Snyder finished with 82 kills, 53 digs, 33 aces, 20 assists and four blocks, giving Roy-Hart an experienced all-around contributor to build around.

Zoe Healey also returns in the middle after a junior season that included 38 kills and five blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Tessa Degenhardt also returns with varsity experience, while Alyse Drees brings multi-season varsity experience in the libero/defensive specialist group.

The roster has two seniors in Healey and Liliana Stanton, four juniors in Casey Burch, Drees, Snyder and Lily Pabon Rosa, and seven sophomores: Degenhardt, Skylar Walker, SamiLynn Denniston, Nora Balcerzak, Olivia Kuhn, Ava Flynn and Jaycie Heck. That class balance should make the early schedule important as Roy-Hart sorts out rotations around its experienced pieces.

Roy-Hart opens Sept. 3 at Oakfield Alabama, then hosts Albion on Sept. 9 and Newfane on Sept. 10. Road matches follow at Wilson on Sept. 15 and Medina on Sept. 18 before a Sept. 21 home date with Lewiston-Porter. Roy-Hart also hosts Williamsville East on Sept. 30, Akron on Oct. 5, Wilson on Oct. 6, Medina on Oct. 14, Lockport on Oct. 15 and Starpoint on Oct. 20, with road dates at Albion, Newfane and Akron also ahead.

After an 18-2 season in 2025-26 under coach Eliza Feocco, Roy-Hart's next step will be shaped by how quickly its younger contributors settle in beside Snyder, Healey and the team's returning defensive options.
