North Tonawanda Lumberjacks 2026 Football Preview
Chris Tideswell is entering his third season as North Tonawanda's head coach, and the Lumberjacks' preview starts with the returning production already on the roster.
Tideswell spent one year as North Tonawanda's varsity defensive coordinator and one year as the modified head coach before taking over the varsity program. Before his time with the Lumberjacks, he coached at Williamsville South across the JV and varsity levels for three seasons.
North Tonawanda has a senior-heavy group among its most productive names, with Andrew Cinquino and Jon Landen giving the Lumberjacks proven two-way value to build around.
Cinquino Gives NT A Featured Offensive Piece
Cinquino is listed as a senior ATH/LB, and his 2025 production shows how many ways he can affect the game.
As a junior, Cinquino carried 132 times for 751 yards and nine touchdowns. He also completed 80 passes for 980 yards and 10 touchdowns, giving North Tonawanda a returning player with meaningful production both on the ground and through the air.
Cinquino also contributed defensively in 2025 with 27 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and two passes defended.
Isaiah Rogers is another senior RB/LB with prior-season work on both sides of the ball. Rogers rushed for 113 yards in 2025 and added 25 tackles with one forced fumble.
Connor Shiesley, a junior WR/DB, caught nine passes for 73 yards as a sophomore and also had 117 kick-return yards. The roster also lists Ethan Orlowski, Jacob Durolek, Dylan Sumi, Logan Stowell, Raymond Keidel and Cole Frank among the wide receiver and defensive back options.
Landen Leads Returning Defensive Production
Landen is the headline returning tackler. The senior OL/LB finished 2025 with 110 tackles, nine tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and two passes defended.
Jonathan Veiders gives North Tonawanda another senior with proven defensive production. The RB/DL recorded 24 tackles, five tackles for loss, four sacks, one fumble recovery and one safety in 2025.
Peter Gerace is listed across multiple positions as a senior WR/RB/LB/DL. He had 15 tackles, two tackles for loss and one fumble recovery last season.
The senior line group also includes Ethan Lake, Dylan Mianakian, Adrian Leo and Jackson Randles. Lake recorded 14 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defended in 2025, while Mianakian added 12 tackles.
Peyton Moore is another senior defensive lineman with 2025 varsity production, finishing last season with seven tackles. Bryce Reimer, John Renna, Nathaniel Davis, Jayden Puff, Jeffery Soos, Eric Grinnell and Rhyder Gierszewski give the roster additional OL/DL depth across the junior and younger classes.
Schedule Landmarks
North Tonawanda's listed schedule opens Sept. 4 at Hamburg at Hamburg Central High School's Howe Field Turf, followed by the Sept. 11 home opener against Starpoint at North Tonawanda High School.
The Lumberjacks travel to Williamsville East on Sept. 18, then return home Sept. 25 against Grand Island. October begins with an Oct. 1 trip to Maritime/Tapestry at Tapestry Athletic Complex.
North Tonawanda hosts South Park on Oct. 9, visits Kenmore East on Oct. 15 at Sparky Adams and closes the listed regular-season schedule Oct. 23 at home against Tonawanda.
For the Lumberjacks, the season's foundation is straightforward: Tideswell's third year leading the program, Cinquino's returning offensive production, Landen's presence at linebacker and a senior group with enough prior varsity production to shape the 2026 identity.
