North Collins enters the 2026 girls soccer season with continuity, depth and a clear point of emphasis after finishing 7-7-3 in 2025.
Coach Vincent Fininzio Jr. said the team is “building on the chemistry from last season” after continuing to improve throughout the year. The roster returns 15 players, eight starters and all of last season’s goal scoring, giving North Collins an experienced group to lean on early.
That returning production starts with Hannah Jasinski and Peyton Teijeira. Jasinski, a senior forward/midfielder, scored seven goals and added three assists in 2025. Teijeira, a junior forward/midfielder, finished with six goals and three assists.
North Collins also has returning attacking production from James Pisa, who had five goals and two assists last season, and Isabella Contro, who added three goals and three assists. Lyric Fallon scored once in 2025, while Lilly Klubek added an assist.
Fininzio pointed to numbers and experience as a strength, saying the roster has players capable of being on the field. He also said the team wants to outwork opponents with its depth, using fresh players to create chances late in games.
The area to develop is in the attack. Fininzio said North Collins needs to be “more creative offensively to add more scoring opportunities.”
North Collins’ schedule includes early September meetings with Catt. Little Valley and Frewsburg, followed by trips to Westfield/Brocton and Dunkirk. Home dates against Buffalo Seminary, Silver Creek/Forestville, Chautauqua Lake and Ellicottville are also part of the September slate.
