Niagara Wheatfield swept CSAT in three sets

Overview

Niagara Wheatfield defeated visiting CSAT 3-0 in boys volleyball on Oct. 6.
The opening set was the closest, with Niagara Wheatfield winning 25-22.
Niagara Wheatfield improved to 4-3 overall, while CSAT fell to 1-9.
Both teams remained 1-1 in their respective divisions after the cross-division match.

Niagara Wheatfield swept CSAT 3-0 in boys volleyball on Oct. 6 at Niagara-Wheatfield High School, winning 25-22, 25-14, 25-17.

The opening set produced the narrowest margin of the match. Niagara Wheatfield followed that three-point win with an 11-point margin in the second set, then closed the match with an eight-point victory in the third.

The win lifted Niagara Wheatfield from 3-3 to 4-3 overall. They were tied for seventh in the supplied Division 2A standings with a 1-1 division record. CSAT fell from 1-8 to 1-9 overall and stood seventh in Division 2B, also at 1-1 in division play.
