MEC/Bennett Girls Volleyball Pre-Season Preview

MEC/Bennett enters the 2026 girls volleyball season with an experienced senior group and a chance to build from last year's winning record.

MEC/Bennett went 8-6 in 2025-26, with wins over East Community, Research Laboratory, Burgard and Riverside. The 2026 roster brings back six Class of 2027 players from last season's team: setters Ksi Carpenter and Brielle Holder, outside hitter London Fisher, libero Carisma Watkins and middle hitters Analiyah Williams and Markayla Williams.

That group gives MEC/Bennett experience across several positions, from the setting spot to the back row and the middle. The preseason picture is straightforward: the team has senior continuity and a schedule that quickly reconnects it with familiar opponents.

MEC/Bennett opens Sept. 14 against Research Laboratory at Bennett High School, then hosts Riverside on Sept. 16. A Sept. 18 trip to MST starts the road schedule. MEC/Bennett then hosts Leonardo da Vinci on Sept. 22, visits Performing Arts on Sept. 24 and hosts East Community on Sept. 28.

The October stretch includes second meetings with Research Laboratory, Riverside, MST, Leonardo da Vinci, Performing Arts and East Community before MEC/Bennett closes the listed regular-season schedule Oct. 20 against Burgard at Bennett High School.
