Maryvale earned their third victory of the season with a 3-0 girls volleyball sweep of Tonawanda on Monday, Oct. 5, at Maryvale High School.

Maryvale opened with a 25-15 victory, their largest margin of the match. The second set was the closest, with Maryvale winning 25-21 before completing the sweep 25-19 in the third.

The win lifted Maryvale from 2-6 to 3-6 overall. Maryvale stood fifth in ECIC 3 with a 1-5 division record.

Tonawanda fell from 6-5 to 6-6 overall and stood fourth in ECIC 4 with a 2-4 division record.
