Outlook

Maryvale enters the 2026 girls soccer season with a returning core from the 2025 roster.

The team went 4-13 in 2025, and the strongest returning pieces are spread across the attack and goal. Monet Cesar gives Maryvale a proven scoring and creating presence after a 2025 season with seven goals and 10 assists. That followed earlier production of four goals and nine assists in 2024, five goals and nine assists in 2023 and three goals and 11 assists in 2022.

Players to Watch

Ava Brzezinski is another major returning producer after recording four goals and nine assists in 2025. Together, Cesar and Brzezinski give Maryvale two players who can both finish and set up chances.

In goal, Zoe Serrano brings back the largest goalkeeper line on the roster. Serrano recorded 132 saves across 848 minutes in 2025.

The supporting returning production includes Skylar Paglicci's two goals in 2025, Ella Molik's goal in 2025 and Eshaal Tarar's goal in 2025. Lizzy Fiaschetti also logged 420 goalkeeper minutes with 48 saves that season.

Maryvale's 2026 schedule includes September games with Depew, Lackawanna, CSAT, Newfane, Lake Shore, Cardinal O'Hara and East Aurora.

October brings Iroquois, Pioneer, Sweet Home, Depew, Buffalo Seminary and Lake Shore, with the regular-season schedule closing Oct. 16 against Lake Shore.
