Lockport Boys Volleyball Pre-season Preview
Lockport enters the boys volleyball season with a familiar-looking senior group and a schedule that should quickly give Tyler Sieczkarek’s team a clear read on where it stands.
Lockport finished 12-8 in 2025-26 after a 20-2 season the year before, according to results published by HighSchoolSports.org. This fall’s roster gives Lockport several players who have been around the varsity program, especially in the Class of 2027.
Bryce Leonard, Landon Pettapiece, Jason Klineline and Blake Canulla give Lockport options at outside hitter or on the right side. Cullen Almekinder is listed as a right side/setter, while Grayson Quackenbush is listed at setter, giving Lockport multiple pieces tied to running or supporting the offense.
In the middle, Peter Zech and Ethan Lemoi return as Class of 2027 players, with Lamair Washington listed as a right side/middle. Tracz Tyler is listed at libero, and Hudson Farrell gives the roster another defensive-specialist option.
Lockport opens Sept. 1 at Frontier and hosts Grand Island on Sept. 9. It is then set to host Niagara Falls on Sept. 15, then travel to CSAT on Sept. 17 before returning home for Starpoint on Sept. 21 and Kenmore on Sept. 23. A late-September trip to Niagara Wheatfield leads into an Oct. 1 home match with North Tonawanda.
October also brings road matches at Grand Island on Oct. 6 and Niagara Falls on Oct. 8, followed by home dates with CSAT on Oct. 14 and Niagara Wheatfield on Oct. 22. Lockport closes the listed schedule at North Tonawanda on Oct. 27.
For a team with returning experience across the pins, middle and back row, the pre-season picture is straightforward: Lockport has pieces back, and the first month will show how quickly those pieces settle into defined roles.
