Outlook

Lewiston-Porter enters the 2026 girls soccer season with a rare level of continuity.

Coach Emily Brook said Lewiston-Porter returns 21 players from last year's roster and has a finalized roster of 22. Every starter is back from a team that went 14-5-1 in 2025, giving Brook's group an experienced foundation and a chance to build quickly.

Brook wants the team to play at a high tempo, press, possess the ball and keep pressure on opponents from start to finish. She also pointed to possession and mental toughness as major strengths, while identifying finishing chances as the area that needs to keep developing.

The goals are clear: compete for a league title, make another deep sectional run and see how far the group can go from there.

Players to Watch

Lauren Toohey gives Lewiston-Porter a major returning attacking piece after a 2025 season with 16 goals and 13 assists. Brook also noted that Toohey was selected for the USYNT Girls U14 Mini Camp in April.

Elisabeth Gray is the returning player Brook identified as a likely step-forward candidate. Brook said Gray is committed to Fordham University. Gray had 13 goals and six assists in 2025 after posting 11 goals and 14 assists in 2024 and 11 goals and 15 assists in 2023.

Julia Leardini added nine goals and 10 assists in 2025, while Mara Pallaci had six goals and five assists. Lucy Kloosterman, expected to help organize the midfield, had two goals and seven assists in 2025.

Gray, Amelia Skowronski, Pallaci and Emma Leardini are listed as captains. Brook highlighted Skowronski's energy, physicality and leadership on the back line, and said Emma Leardini brings consistency, field vision and the right pass as she moves into midfield.

In goal, Olivia Myers had 33 saves across 1,181 minutes in 2025.
