Styles gives Lake Shore a clear returning threat

Lake Shore enters the 2026 girls soccer season with its strongest returning production tied to Kristia Styles.

Styles, a Class of 2027 midfielder/forward, had 14 goals and six assists in 2025-26. That production came during a 4-8-2 season and gives Lake Shore a proven attacking piece to build around.

The returning production is not limited to Styles. Ella Jasinski, a Class of 2029 forward/midfielder, had three goals in 2025-26. Tessa Ludwig, a Class of 2027 defender/midfielder, had four goals and one assist last season.

Lake Shore also brings back Lola Pawlowski, a Class of 2027 forward/midfielder who had two goals in 2025-26, and Marijana Pericak, a Class of 2027 defender who added one goal.

Schedule landmarks

Lake Shore's listed schedule opens Sept. 2 at Iroquois, followed by road matches at Holland and North Collins around a Sept. 9 home date with Pioneer.

The September schedule continues with home matches against East Aurora, Maryvale and Iroquois, plus road trips to Depew, Pioneer, Eden and Frontier. October brings a road match at East Aurora, a home match with Depew and a regular-season finale listed for Oct. 16 at Maryvale.

For Lake Shore, the preseason story starts with whether last year's returning scoring group can carry forward, led by Styles after a 34-point season in 2025-26.
