Hutch Tech stayed unbeaten with a 3-0 girls volleyball win at Emerson/Bflo Culinary on Wednesday, Sept. 30, winning 25-13, 25-17, 25-8.
Hutch Tech took the opening set by 12 points before Emerson/Bflo Culinary produced their closest set in the second. Hutch Tech won that set 25-17, then closed the sweep with a 17-point margin in the third.
The victory moved Hutch Tech to 7-0 overall and 7-0 in Buffalo Division 1. Hutch Tech held first place in the division standings through Wednesday's contest, ahead of Lafayette at 6-1 in division play.
Emerson/Bflo Culinary fell to 2-5 overall and 2-5 in the division and stood fifth in the division standings.
