Hutch-Tech 2026 Football Preview

Hutch-Tech enters the 2026 football season under head coach Micah Harris with a roster that includes several returning defenders with 2025 varsity production.

Senior lineman Didier Malonga returns on both fronts. As a junior in 2025, Malonga finished with 57 total tackles, eight tackles for loss and one sack. That gives Hutch-Tech a senior lineman with recent production on the defensive front.

Hunter Moore, a Class of 2028 athlete, also returns after a productive sophomore season on defense. Moore recorded 28 total tackles and 16 passes defended in 2025.

Alexander Wright Jr, another Class of 2028 athlete, added 24 total tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack as a sophomore. Senior linebacker Sincere Rumph had 21 total tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defended in 2025.

Hutch-Tech also has Lamar Rivera back at WR/DB after posting 13 total tackles and four passes defended in 2025, along with three receptions for 30 yards. Derrick Frazier, a Class of 2027 OL/DL, added 10 total tackles last season.

Roster Picture

The current roster lists a large Class of 2027 group that includes Yerniel Colon, Aiden Gonzalez, Sincere Rumph, Lamar Rivera, Tyrese Leslie, Sincere Jordan, Michael Morreale Jr, Mateo Johnson, Selavie Janvier, Didier Malonga and Derrick Frazier.

The underclass group is broad as well. Hutch-Tech lists Class of 2028 athletes Alexander Wright Jr, Hunter Moore, Isaiah Quinones, Dino Tabb, Braylon Beathley, Renaj Armbrister, Izreal Gibson, Mikwon West, Jeremiah Baskins, Alex Hakizimana, Josdiel Ramos, Jerry Davis, Davion Palmer and Jakota Rice.

Roman Jiminez is listed as a Class of 2028 P/K/FG. Nahkeem Rumph, a Class of 2030 quarterback, is also on the roster.

Schedule Landmarks

Hutch-Tech is scheduled to open Sept. 4 at Orchard Park, then play Lockport on Sept. 11 at All High Stadium.

The September schedule continues with a Sept. 19 home game against Niagara Falls at All High Stadium. October begins with back-to-back home dates at Riverside High School: Bennett on Oct. 1 and Lancaster on Oct. 8.

The regular-season schedule closes with two road games. Hutch-Tech is scheduled to visit Health Sciences/BASC/Charter on Oct. 16 at Buffalo State University's Coyer Field, then travel to Jamestown on Oct. 23.

For Hutch-Tech, the preseason picture starts with the defenders who already have varsity numbers behind them. Malonga, Moore, Wright and Rumph give the team returning defensive production, while the schedule builds toward late October road games at Health Sciences/BASC/Charter and Jamestown.
