Holland brings senior front-row experience into 2026 volleyball season

Holland Girls Volleyball Pre-Season Preview

Holland enters the 2026 girls volleyball season with Jennifer Breier as head coach and a nine-player roster built across three classes.

The senior group includes Kayliana Burns, Vanessa Charles, McKynzi Williams and Addison Szucs. Williams, an outside hitter/middle hitter, finished the 2025-26 season with 29 kills, 22 digs and 26 aces.

Middle hitter Szucs and outside/right-side hitter Charles also return with varsity experience.

The junior class includes Lilly Fuller, Makayla Mochol and Ava Smith. Fuller is listed at outside hitter/defensive specialist, while Mochol and Smith are setter/right-side options. Sophomores Laila Howard and Lyla Mikula round out the roster, with Howard in the middle and Mikula at libero/defensive specialist.

Holland finished 5-13 in 2025-26. The 2026 schedule starts quickly, with JFK on Sept. 10, a trip to Cleveland Hill on Sept. 14 and a home match with Buffalo Academy of Science on Sept. 16. Later September dates include Alden, Eden and Tonawanda before October brings dates with JFK, Buffalo Academy of Science, Cleveland Hill, Lackawanna, Tapestry, Eden and Tonawanda.
