Overview

  • Frontier defeated visiting Hamburg 3-0 on Oct. 16.
  • After winning the first two sets by nine and 14 points, Frontier closed the match with a 25-23 third set.

Frontier earned their 10th win of the season with a 3-0 boys volleyball sweep of Hamburg on Oct. 16 at Frontier Senior High School.

Frontier took the opening set 25-16 and followed with a 25-11 second set to build a 2-0 advantage. Hamburg came closest in the third set, but Frontier finished the sweep with a 25-23 victory.

The result lifted Frontier from 9-3 to 10-3 overall. Frontier stood second in the Division 1 standings through the contest date with a 5-3 division record. Hamburg fell from 6-6 to 6-7 overall and stood sixth in Division 2A with a 3-4 division record.
