Fredonia swept Dunkirk 3-0 in girls volleyball on Sept. 28, 2026, at Dunkirk High School, winning 25-12, 25-13, 25-7.

Fredonia opened with a 13-point victory in the first set and followed with a 12-point margin in the second. The third set produced the widest margin of the match, with Fredonia winning by 18 points to complete the sweep.

The victory brought Fredonia to 5-3 overall and 5-1 in CCAA 1. Fredonia stood second in the division through Sept. 28, behind Portville, which was 6-0 in division play. Dunkirk fell to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in CCAA 1, seventh in the division standings.
