Falconer won the final two sets to defeat Dunkirk 3-1 in CCAA 1 girls volleyball Thursday, Oct. 1.

Falconer opened with a 25-15 win, but Dunkirk answered with a 25-13 victory in the second set to tie the match. Falconer regained the lead with another 25-15 win in the third, then closed out the contest 25-16 in the fourth.

The victory brought Falconer to 2-8 overall and 2-5 in division play. Falconer was fifth in CCAA 1 through Thursday's contest. Dunkirk stood seventh at 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the division.
