Outlook

East Aurora enters the 2026 girls soccer season with returning scoring options and a demanding stretch of road games.

The team finished 9-10 in 2025 and returns a group with enough scoring history to build from. Juliet Buccieri is the primary name in that returning production after recording 12 goals and five assists in 2025. She also had eight goals and two assists in 2024, giving East Aurora a proven attacking piece going into the new season.

Players to Watch

The supporting scoring group is broad. Aurora Balikowski had seven goals and one assist in 2025, Catherine Kolken had six goals and one assist, and Maddie Beiter had three goals and three assists.

Genevieve Fisher added four goals and four assists in 2025. Sophia Catanzaro had three goals and five assists, while Amelia Faherty had two goals and six assists. Jasmine Tidswell, Ella Soroka and Leah Bernys also return with prior scoring production listed.

East Aurora's roster also includes Vivian Sultana in goal, along with a large group of defenders and midfielders spread across the 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 classes. Sydney Cerza is listed as head coach, with Haley Potenza as assistant coach.

Schedule

East Aurora's schedule opens with three straight home games against Depew, Orchard Park and Maryvale before a Sept. 15 trip to Lake Shore and a Sept. 16 home date with Portville.

The defining schedule stretch comes later. From Sept. 28 through Oct. 6, East Aurora is listed for six consecutive road games: West Seneca, Maryvale, Kenmore East, Depew, Clarence and Akron. After that, the regular-season schedule closes with home games against Lake Shore and Iroquois, then an Oct. 15 trip to Pioneer.
