Returning Pieces Across The Floor

Lake Shore girls volleyball enters the 2026 season with three returning players giving coach John Coyle pieces at setter, libero/defensive specialist and middle hitter.

Brooke DelPrince, a senior setter, is one of the players back for Lake Shore. Katsi Jackson, a junior libero/defensive specialist, gives Lake Shore a returning back-row option, while senior Caprina Pecori returns as a middle hitter.

That mix gives Lake Shore a returning player in three different areas of the rotation as it looks to build on a 7-11 season in 2025-26. Lake Shore is scheduled to see several familiar opponents early, including Springville, Alden, West Seneca East, Cheektowaga, Williamsville South, Maryvale and Hamburg before the end of September.

Lake Shore opens Sept. 9 at Amherst. Its home schedule includes Springville on Sept. 14, Cheektowaga on Sept. 21, Williamsville South on Sept. 23, Maryvale on Sept. 24 and Hamburg on Sept. 28.

Lake Shore is also scheduled for September road matches at Alden, West Seneca East and Springville before an October stretch that includes Williamsville South, Amherst, West Seneca West, West Seneca East, Cheektowaga and Maryvale.
