Chautauqua Lake stayed unbeaten with a straight-set victory at Maple Grove on Monday, Oct. 5, winning 25-16, 25-9, 25-6 at Maple Grove High School.

The visitors won the opening set by nine points, then widened the margin in each of the next two. A 25-9 second set put Chautauqua Lake ahead 2-0 before a 25-6 third set completed the sweep.

Chautauqua Lake reached 8-0 overall and 7-0 in CCAA 3. They held first place in the division standings through Oct. 5, ahead of Westfield, which was 6-1 in division play.

Maple Grove fell to 4-6 overall and 3-4 in CCAA 3. Maple Grove stood third in the division table, with Panama also at 3-4 in division play.
