Cassadaga Valley Outlasts Forestville in Five Sets

Cassadaga Valley 3, Forestville 2

Cassadaga Valley defeated Forestville 25-19, 23-25, 25-22, 24-26, 15-6 in CCAA 4 girls volleyball on Sept. 21, 2026, at Cassadaga Valley Central High School.

Cassadaga Valley opened with a 25-19 first-set win before Forestville answered 25-23 in the second. Cassadaga Valley moved back in front with a 25-22 third-set victory, but Forestville forced a fifth set by taking the fourth 26-24. Cassadaga Valley then closed the match 15-6 in the deciding set.

With the result, Cassadaga Valley improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in CCAA 4. Forestville moved to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in division play.

Alexis Pattyson finished with 15 kills, 17 digs, four aces and one assist. Eliana Katilus had a team-high 17 kills, and Melanie Myles finished with 35 assists, eight digs and an ace.

Kailee Lacki had seven kills, six digs and six aces for Cassadaga Valley. Anna Burlingame added seven kills, five digs, four aces and a block, while Chloe Lundberg had four aces, three kills and one assist.

Pattyson’s season totals stood at 75 kills and 34 aces after the match. Katilus had 85 season digs, and Myles had 144 assists.
