Akron Tigers Football Preview

Akron enters the 2026 football season with Bobby Reome leading a group that has several players coming off varsity production from last fall.

Junior Cole Siska, a QB/LB, gives the Tigers a proven dual-threat option. As a sophomore in 2025, he completed 69 of 123 passes for 844 yards and 10 touchdowns, and he carried 62 times for 168 yards and six more scores.

Senior WR/DB Charles Rebmann brings production on both sides of the ball. His 2025 line included five receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns, along with 19 total tackles and two passes defended.

Senior RB/LB Brock Lamont was part of Akron's defensive production last fall with 37 total tackles and a forced fumble. Junior WR/DB Hunter Haist had 13 total tackles and a pass defended in 2025.

Akron's 2025 team finished 6-3 in the HighSchoolSports.org coverage window. The Tigers' 2026 schedule starts with two home games at Akron High School Stadium: OC Rivals (Medina/Albion) on Sept. 3 and Cleveland Hill on Sept. 11.
